We had dinner with Debbie and her family. Carter arrived after dinner with his friend Catherine.

Krista's band played the following day at a barbeque party. They played all of Sid and my favs, including songs by The Clash, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd and I think I heard the Cure as well. Krista shares the lead in singing and on guitar. She can play the intro to Blue Sky....They are all in high school..... They are very good.
Emma was into it all and especially enjoyed her Uncle Ralph and playing with cousins Katie and Corban.
p.s. Sorry about the blur. Smudges I think, caused by Emma getting her hands on the camera when I wasn't looking...

Thanksgiving fun with the aunties
Emma was under the weather for our entire Thanksgiving visit to Virginia Beach. But, given that she had a runny nose, slight fever, and a cough, she held up like a trooper. Carol and Linda got reacquainted with Emma quickly, especially quick because they brought with them this sweet play house; and Carol and Linda played the part of the toys....

Emma and Phoebe
We are nanny sharing with our friends Paul and Molly. Francoise watches Phoebe 40 hrs a week and both girls for 20 hrs. It is a great way to help with socializing Emma (aside from daily visits to the coffee shop) and she gets to have a friend to play with!
Here is a picture of Molly, Phoebe and Emma out in our double "Jeep" stroller Molly and I found on Craigslist. They are often mistaken for twins...Very cute.

Emma & the Scots
Francoise was back watching Emma today, after a week of being hurt. I left before Emma awoke to present at a meeting in Helena. I suppose in celebration, and because we rarely have Emma in dresses, Francoise had her wear this Scottish terrier jumper inherited from our friend's daughter Frieda.
She looked very cute in her jumper, sneakers, tights and scotties. I had to take a picture.
Another angle on the Scotties. She isn't as unhappy as this picture suggests... :-)

Emma loves raisins- part 1
This is a ridiculous number of photos taken of Emma and Sid playing and eating raisins in the kitchen. I was going to cull, but then I just thought I'd post them all. Here you go!
"I love raisins!"
"Yep, raisins. But, hmm what is that partially open thing over there.""Hmm. A drawer, partially open. Interesting!"
"Help Dad! I want in!" Oooh!"
"Okay I got it open. Very hard. Now what?""Let's see here."
"Hmm, plastic. Not sure I approve, but good job guys on the organic produce.""Costly, but really worth it.""Still. I'm done with that.""That was fun mom, but what was I doing before?....""Oh yes, raisins!"
