Peter III
My friends Kris and Peter, just had a baby boy. This is Sarah and me out for a first look and visit. He is cute! So, says Emma. She even said, "What a cutie!" - I quote.

Huffing for Stuffing
My friend Julia and I ran the 5k "Huffing for Stuffing" race on Thanksgiving.
It was a beautiful day and boasted 2200 runners.
In a mystery of luck and cluelessness, we "smoked the turkey" and each got a prize hat.... More on that if you're interested. With the same kind of "luck" Julia placed second in the 10k; which we didn't run. More on that too.
Regardless, we finished the course after 25 minutes of medium hard running. At the finish line they had heated tents and a band with beverages and goodies (many of them good for you). It was nice too b/c all of the race proceeds go to the local food bank.
The Bridger Creek Boys....I went to graduate school with the violin player (on left). His name is Matt.

We enjoyed the bluegrass immensely. Emma really liked them too, even though you can't tell from the pictures....She is tired. All that fast strollering...And due the fact she woke up at 5:50 am.

Out and About- before the snow
Hi all,
It is snowy here. I mean snow. Like full-on middle of winter, big snowstorm snow. We must have 2 feet plus lining our walkway.
It is fun. Aside from all the downed branches in town. The Prius handled the snow conditions like a champ. The Prius has snow tires.
Here are some pictures of a walk we took to the playground last weekend. Before the snow. Walking there was a party in and of itself. She likes to visit our neighbor's stoops.

Emma spends a weekend with Neena and Pops
As I said in my last entry, Emma stayed home to celebrate Halloween with her grandparents, Neena and Pops Williamson while we went to Sam and Sara's wedding in Palm Springs. They had TERRIBLE weather and Emma (in a two year old stand of independence) refused to put on her tutu costume for trick or treating. They took her out anyway to our neighbors. Good job Neena! Good job Pops!
Here are some pictures Page (Pops) took over the weekend:
What is she doing above to make her smile so? Yes, she is watching t.v. A DVD movie of some sorts to be exact. She loves Madagascar and Finding Nemo. She loved Thomas the Train, but no longer. Winnie the Pooh is okay and the Jungle Book makes her laugh loudly.
Neena and Pops adhered to our not-so-strict allowance of 1 hours a day. With the weather as bad as it was, I know it must have been a challenge. Emma appears to LOVE to watch movies, even on a screen that is the size of a small book!

Trip to Palm Springs
We went to Palm Springs last weekend for our friends' Sam and Sara's wedding. We stayed at the Parker Resort with ~45 of Sam and Sara's friends and family. It was delightful! The company was fabulous, the wedding and food divine, and it was the first time Sid and I have gotten away together, just the two of us in over two years!
Thank you Gail and Page! (Emma stayed home with the grandparents to celebrate Halloween number 2 in Bozeman)....
Activities before and after the wedding included: tennis, croquet, petanque, swimming, not swimming, yoga, ping pong, chess, hiking, eatking, drinking and dressing up. The wedding was on the day BEFORE Halloween. We partied hardy All Hallow's Eve / Day of the Dead style the next day.
