Emma gone fishin'

We went for a hike/walk last Sunday. It was a glorious sunny winters day.

We decided that fishing (with a stick for a pole) was the best thing to do on such a nice walk. We've been reading "Curious George Goes Fishing", so she was all primed and ready to go. She knew we needed a pole (stick will do), string, a hook and some cake....

Emma was hoping to catch a whale, but some rocks, running water, squirrels and other nature-type gazing suited her just fine in the end.

When we were done, she was pretty sure it would be a good idea for her to drive home.

Misc 2009

Just got a new phone (a Palm Pre- it is pretty cool) and downloaded all of my old phone photos. So now I am sharing a back log of images dating back to August 2009.

This one is actually pretty recent. Emma and I did some skiing on a series of sunny, sunny days while Sid was MIA (actually he was in Florida fishing and hanging with his buds). Emma likes to ski/sled but she almost always falls asleep. You can't see them but she has about 10 books in the sled along with her puppy. If I were her, I'd be asleep too, riding in that thing must be pretty lulling. In case you are wondering, no she did not take another nap that day and was very cranky come dinnertime. It was worth though. It is good to get out!

Emma in full shopping regalia (and form) with mom and the aunts on a rainy day in August in Wolfeboro, NH.

Emma with one of the aunts- Linda. She was the mastermind of the diva bath toy bags. I was behind the hat. It was just so cute. She wore it that day but hasn't worn it since. She will only wear one hat (given to her by her Neena- see next photo).

This is at the library a few weeks ago. She was helping return her books. There is the hat. It is a very cute hat.

On the subject of hats:

These two are of course, not Emma. But, Sid looked to good not to include. I mean too good. No it isn't a chicken hat, but a dinosaur hat (from the Museum of the Rockies). Emma giggled when she saw her dad in it. After that, Sid refused to take it off. For a while anyway. It wasn't ours, it belongs to the museum.

Emma at camp this summer. I LOVE this picture.

These are more recent Emma.

 Playing kitchen with her dad.

And playing Lady Gaga/Diva with her mom's sunglasses. The sunglasses were bought for Halloween btw. They are not my everyday glasses, just in case you were wondering.

This one is of the Christmas Stroll. It was near 0 degrees out. Emma loved it. Not a very good one of Sid however.

Here is a better one of Sid at a fundraiser for the hospital.

That's it! xoxo
