Emma in a bucket, by my friend Caroline

These were taken in August at Family Camp by Caroline. As it was in the mid-90s, Emma spent most of her time by the beach at Small Cove. There she was visited by Caroline who spends most of her time working on the boats and making sure people don't wreak themselves or the boats in the cove.

Fall has come

Emma and her best friend, Phoebe went on a hike on Labor Day. In fact, we (Phoebe's dad and I labored) and they rode. It was blustery and chilly. But, at the top the sun came out and we had a few minutes of tolerable weather. Once the trail flattened, the girls decided to get out and pick berries. By the end of our mountain top stay however, the girls were pretty done with the cold and wind.

They revived once we got back down to the lower meadow, however. There, we played a giggle-filled game of "Where did Phoebe and Emma go?". It was a great hike.
